Our take

Eye Envy is a cat-specific tear stain solution recommended by breeders and groomers of flat-faced breeds in particular, where shortened tear ducts let tears overflow onto the face more than they drain away normally. It is applied to the stained fur with a cotton pad, not in the eye itself, and works on the stain already there rather than on why the tears are overflowing in the first place.

Good to know

2 fl oz liquid solution
Applied to fur around the eye, not into the eye
Natural formula, made in the USA
Widely used by Persian and exotic breeders and groomers

Who it is for

Cats with visible tear staining, especially flat-faced breeds
Owners already cleared by a vet to manage ongoing staining at home

Who should skip it

Cats with an active eye infection, injury, or vet-diagnosed eye condition, which needs vet treatment first
Anyone expecting it to fix the underlying cause of watery eyes rather than the staining
