Our take
Two magnets, one inside the tank and one outside, let you scrape algae off the glass by sliding the outer half around rather than reaching into the water at all. It works on the surface film and green spot algae that build up on the glass itself, a different problem from a free-floating green-water bloom, which a scraper does nothing for. The felt or scrub pad face is sized to the model, so a nano tank wants the small version and a large show tank wants a bigger one, oversized drags and undersized needs too many passes.
